A fintech born from research

We are a Startup fintech company built on a solid foundation of R&D. We are in our initial phase, but we are not starting from scratch: we are born with the backing of a long track record in other business, scientific, and institutional projects that validate our innovative nature. Sedna has been a beneficiary of an Activa Startup project from the Ministry of Industry and holds the Innovative SME seal from the Ministry of Science and Innovation, as well as the Neotec Seal. These recognitions, as a starting point, confirm a working method that places research, innovation, and cutting-edge technology at the heart of everything we do.

Twenty years pushing the technological frontier

Behind the project is a founding team with over two decades of experience leading R&D projects in some of the most demanding environments in science and industry. Their track record encompasses supercomputing—with participation in a €33 million project—and the in-house development of systems and instrumentation for particle accelerators, high-energy physics, and astrophysics, leading their own initiatives with multi-million euro budgets. This experience in managing complexity, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and pushing technology to its limits is the human capital and expertise upon which this new venture is built.

AI for sustainable and ethical investment

We apply that same spirit of inquiry to a purposeful challenge: developing AI-based technologies for ethical and sustainable investment. We believe that the finance of the future must be both profitable and responsible, and that AI is the tool capable of uniting both dimensions with precision and transparency. Our goal is to build cutting-edge solutions that leverage the current moment of innovation and radical technological evolution. Our experience across multiple fields allows the developed technologies to branch out from Fintech applications to scientific and industrial applications.
